Cathay Pacific Cargo retains its AFLAS ‘Best in Asia’ award

Asia Cargo News readers name Cathay the Best Air Cargo Carrier – Asia for the second year running

Cathay Pacific Cargo has retained its title as ‘Best Air Cargo Carrier – Asia’ at the 2021 Asian Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain (AFLAS) Awards held at the New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel on 21 October, 2021.

The awards, hosted and organised annually by Asia Cargo News, recognise leading service providers in air and shipping lines, air and seaports, along with logistics and e-commerce fulfilment companies, plus other associated industry professionals. This is second consecutive year that Cathay Pacific Cargo has won this particular award.

More than 15,000 readers of Asia Cargo News took part in the nomination and voting processes to select leading companies in the market, and then determine the winners. This makes the results the opinion of service-users, rather than a panel of expert judges.

Tom Owen, Director Cargo, who collected the award for Cathay Pacific, said: ‘We are delighted to receive this award and to be recognised once more by the readers of Asia Cargo News as Best Air Cargo Carrier – Asia. I would like give a big vote of thanks to our cargo teams in Hong Kong and around the world for their efforts to meet our customers’ needs through some very challenging times for the operation. We will continue to focus our attention on providing solutions that customers value and further improve our performance through investments in digital technologies.’
